Mike did a wonderful job on our basement.  He moved all the pipes (fixing problems along the way) so that the walls could be flush.  He understood our budgetary constraints while wanting a quality finished product.  Mike was timely throughout the quoting and planning phases, getting back to us immediately.  He was careful with the rest of our house so that the effects of the construction were minimized.  He also understood how we wanted the basement to flow with the rest of the house.  We even left a few finishing decisions to him and they turned out to be great ones. One of the finest advantages of having Mike complete our basement was that he was able to set up the entire home theatre projector system, having made all the electrical preparations during construction.  One day, that basement will sell the house.  Thanks, Mike!

In September of 2009 we hired NuHome Construction to remodel our family room. The job consisted of wrapping an old outdated brick fireplace with both drywall and granite and building a fireplace surround. We also had a granite hearth and built-in bookshelves installed. Mike Dery of NuHome came out and gave us a very competitive and reasonable bid along with great ideas. Because he seemed so knowledgeable we hired him and were extremely pleased with the results. Mike did all the work himself, showed up on time and finished in a timely manor. In addition, he was more than willing to meet our expectations and work with us on design changes. We plan on hiring NuHome again for future remodeling projects.

     I have seen a lot of craftsmen over the years, but I have never seen a craftsman such as yourself.  Your attention to detail, durability of materials used, and the beautiful outcome of the project were way above and beyond what I expected.  Your willingness to go the extra mile to ensure everything you did was absolutely perfect was amazing.
 
As discussed while you were here, I will have more projects this summer, I sure hope you're available.
